So I've been swamped with work lately (juggling two pen names, especially one that hit the New York Times bestseller list 3 times in 5 weeks, is crazy hard) and sometimes I have to prioritize my day. I can spend time on social media--or I can write more chapters on my books. If it's a choice between writing about Terror or visiting Facebook, well, Terror wins hands-down.
But there's also another reason I went radio-silent on my Lo social media. Since last fall, I've been dealing with some not-so-fun behind-the-scenes shenanigans that put me in an incredibly difficult spot. Holding onto these Grabbed manuscripts gave me heartburn like you cannot even imagine because I write books to put them in readers' hands--->but I had to keep them here, on my desk, until I was absolutely sure that things weren't going pear-shaped.
I won't say more than that because I don't think it's right to involve readers in publisher-related drama. Plus, those of you who really want to know the chisme will use that Google-Fu to find the answers. ;)
So, I think (hope, really) that everything is a-okay now, and I will be submitting Stolen by Raze in a few weeks. Cipher will follow in early August, Terror and Torment a short time later. The moment I have release dates, you'll know. Until then--->

The next two Dragon Heat books were also delayed--and this one was absolutely my fault. I sent back the manuscripts while I was on vacation in April but I got sidetracked with Roxie stuff (hitting the lists, hundreds of emails a day, etc) and forgot to follow up on them. Apparently airport wifi isn't so great, and I didn't find out until late May (during a run-in with my editor in the lobby of the RT hotel, actutally) that the books hadn't arrived on her desk. They're there now so the release dates will be shuffled forward a few weeks. Huge mea culpa for that one. It's totally on me.
Here are the first chapters (unedited so excuse any typos!) of Wicked Dark Dragon and Renegade Dragon.
